The following is a list of items I recommend you have stocked in your pantry at all times:

  • Granulated Sugar

  • Brown Sugar

  • All Purpose Four

  • Cup-for-Cup Gluten Free Flour if cooking Gluten Free

  • Cornstarch

  • Baking Soda

  • Baking Powder

  • Kosher Salt

  • Panko Bread Crumbs

  • Parmesan Cheese (grated or block)

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Toasted Sesame Oil

  • Safflower or Grape-seed Oil

  • Honey

  • Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Balsamic Vinegar

  • Vanilla Extract (the real thing)

  • Low Sodium Soy Sauce

  • Liquid Aminos if you cook Gluten Free

  • Hoisin Sauce

  • Rice Vinegar (unseasoned)

  • Full Fat Coconut Milk

  • Fish Sauce

  • Dijon Mustard

  • Tahini

  • Inexpensive Dry White Wine

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg (whole lasts better)

  • Allspice

  • Cumin

  • Coriander

  • Oregano

  • Thyme

  • Red Pepper Flakes

  • Ground Black Pepper

  • Smoked Paprika

  • Fennel Seeds

  • Bay Leaves

  • Curry Blend
